Hagal is a purpose-driven Norwegian scaleup with the desire to build a more sustainable future with smart batteries. An ambitious idea turned into a technology that maximises the lifespan of new and used batteries, enabling low-cost energy storage systems with a green footprint.

 

Our name, Hagal, is based on the rune symbol by the same name. It symbolises the forces of nature and the universe. Forces beyond our control. Forces that spark ideas, inspire innovation and power progress – by constantly pushing us forward.

 

To meet the ever-growing needs of our customers, we develop and implement full-stack battery energy solutions – from modular energy storage systems to intelligent energy management software.

 

We use battery technology to make green power more available, flexible and affordable. That is what it takes to make clean energy the first choice.
